THE CROSS-SECTION OF DONOR IMPURITY IN GAALAS/GAAS INHOMOGENEOUS QUANTUM DOT (CORE/SHELL) : UNDER THE POLARONIC EFFECT

In this paper, we have studied the effect of hydrostatic pressure and electric field in the presence of the e-p interaction, on the binding energy, the polarizability, and the PCS photoionization cross section of a donor impurity located in an inhomogeneous cubic box of GaAs / AlAs core / shell. The effect of the position of the impurity has been studied too. Our results show that the binding energy and the polarizability strongly depend on the width of the outer box L2, the distance between the electron and the impurity decreases as the intensity of the electric field increases and when the thickness of the inner layer (L2-L1) decreases. The polaronic effect was very remarkable on Web with the increase of the pressure, on the other hand it is considerable for P = 0Kbar on the polarizability.
